教育目標

This is a comprehensive first course in electronic circuits. It covers (1) Foundation materials for electric circuits, including Ohm’s Law, Series and parallel of resistors, Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL), Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL), Thevenin form and Norton form to represent signal source, impedance elements and concepts, including resistive, capacitive and inductive elements, Voltage divider’s rule and current divider’s rule, large signal and small signal representation, analog and digital signals, and concepts of linear amplification. (2) Studies of basic electronic devices, including Operational Amplifiers, Diodes, Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors (MOSFET), Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT) (3) Special topics, including Digital Logic Circuits implemented with diodes, BJTs, or FETs
