課程概述

Reliability is the probability that a product or a system will perform properly for at least a given period of time. Advanced manufacturing technology considerably drops the failure probabilities of many products. Hence, the analysis and design of reliability experiments are not easy tasks because only a few failures occur in a practical length of life-testing time. In this course, different types of analysis strategies and designs of experiments for reliability studies will be introduced. The following topics will be covered. 1. Probability distributions and quantities used to describe reliability 2. Different types of censorings 3. Nonparametric estimation of lifetime distributions 4. Parametric estimation of lifetime distributions 5. Probability plots 6. Lifetime regression models 7. Accelerated life tests (ALT) 8. Degradation analysis
