教育目標

(1) To provide fundamental treatment about many practical and theoretical concepts that form the basis of wireless communications,including IEEE 802.11 Specifications and other relevant materials. (2) By analyzing frames in the WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) environment practically, this course will help the students enforce the capability on how to analyze and solve the WLAN-related problems with which the students may face in the future.

課程概述

。Fourier theory for signal analysis; Decibel concepts, and RF introduction. 。Modulation techniques and data-signal conversion schemes. 。Introduction to wireless local area network (WLAN) 。IEEE 802.11 standard basics. 。IEEE 802.11 MAC Layer Protocol and the frame formats 。Practical analysis on the frames captured from WLAN. ( frames are examined in “ bit level ”) 。WLAN components and installations. 。Technical papers study ( including conference papers or journal papers)
