教育目標

在這一學期中‚我們會特別關注以下的問題:  What are emotions? How can we define emotions in social research? （情緒是什麼？ 在社會研究中如何界定情緒？）  What are the main theoretical and methodological perspectives of sociology of emotions? （情緒或情感社會學主要的理論與方法是什麼？）  How societal conditions or social factors affect individuals’ emotions? If so, what are some of the consequences? （社會條件或是社會成因如何形塑個人的情緒？有何後果？）  How can we regulate our emotions through individual and societal interventions? （我們如何透過個人與社會的介入來調節情緒？） 簡言之，透過對特定個案及理論的討論，我希望讓學生能夠深入理解情緒社會學中不同的研究面向；明白情緒課題對個人及社會的重要性；探討何種內外因素影響了我們的情緒狀態。同學們也將會學習一些基本的社會學的概念、理論及方法，明白如何應用這些工具來對相關議題做深入的研究，進而培養社會課題的比較及分析能力。
