教育目標

1. acquire communication strategies for success; 2. learn from failure on their own; 3. better understand multi-cultural norms and expectations; and 4. have broader knowledge of cultural diversity and international perspective.

課程概述

This course will allow students to analyze strategies for success through the exploration of failure. In the constantly growing global economy, understanding multi-cultural norms and expectations are essential in understanding success and failure. Students will be reading and learning from life lessons on failure to gain insight on how to succeed. Each main component of English will be used by the students: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This course will require students to write reflective essays, give presentations, participate in in-class discussions, and take a final exam. This course is designed for advanced level English students who have a desire to learn how to succeed despite failing.
