教育目標

1. The Rough introduction of Taiwan history development. 2. The Dutch colony, In the Age of Exploration, the European power came to Formosa, the Dutch, Chinese, and Aborigines encountered in Formosa. 3. Koxinga's (Zheng Chenggong) story, and the Ming dynasty in Taiwan. 4. The Qing's ruling, including the immigrants policies, Education and exam system, the administration to the indigenous, the rebellions, economic development, and external crises. 5. Japanese ruling, and Taiwan's modernization 6. After the World War II, the Republic of China retreated from Mainland to Taiwan. 7. The Economic miracle and democracy development. 8. The struggle for political identity

課程概述

In this course, we explore some of the historically important philosophical questions relating to the human person. This will include discussions about the existence (or non-existence) of free will; the question of what makes you the particular person you are; and the nature of the human (and non-human mind).
