教育目標

On completion of the course, students should be able to a) display orally and in written form their linguistic and cultural knowledge of the idiomatic and colloquial expressions acquired in the course by using them in predefined contexts appropriately; b) display orally and in written form their control of the acquired idiomatic and colloquial expressions by using them appropriately in extended discourses; c) display their communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills and abilities by using the acquired expressions spontaneously and appropriately in prepared and impromptu interactions at normal speech rate in extended discourses; d) sustain and/or enhance their interest and motivation in learning English by actively using the acquired expressions in various daily-life situations; and e) learn and/or acquire more idiomatic and colloquial expressions on their own to continue improving their oral skills and abilities.
