These four modules are: Multiculturalism, Presentation and Public Speaking, Career and Profession, and Daily Communication. All modular courses are semester-based; so each SENM student can choose two different modules according to their individual learning needs in one academic year. Within each module, there are different sub-themes, or topics, around which the course curriculum is built. Various class activities such as discussions, exhibitions, competitions, and presentations are incorporated to strengthen students′ English competence.
This specific course belongs to the Module of Career and Profession. This module focuses on different specialized fields such as business English, technical English, or English for tourism. It helps students to increase their professional competence in English and to prepare them for jobs of the future.
On completion of the course, students should be able to

2) use skills acquired in the course to explore specific topics related to their career and professional development;
