教育目標

This course provides the framework and practices for academic research writing. The standard of academic research writing is set to meet the criteria of academic journal publication. The first half of this course will introduce the main format, style, and structure of a research paper. The rest of the course will survey a collection of academic journals in the field of accounting, finance, and economics to summarize the major requirements of journal publication. The use of English language in academic writing is much highlighted and aligned with the guidelines of journal publication. Writing assignments will be given to advance the writing skills, and this course demands much student participation and discussion.
