教育目標

Importance and diversity of proteins. Active and inactive conformations of proteins. Principles of molecular recognition and applications. Importance of enzyme inhibitors in the development of modern drugs. Suicide enzyme inactivators. Receptor-ligand interactions and cooperativity, allosteric enzymes, Scatchard equation and the Hill equation, enzyme mechanisms, mechanisms of selected enzymes: catalase, superoxide dismutase, carbonic anhydrase, cytochrome P450, glutathione transferase, glutathione peroxidases, restriction endonucleases, etc. Mechanisms and clinical significance of protein folding.

課程概述

介紹胜太解離平衡反應,胜太之 Ramachandran 構象分析,酵素、 蛋白因子二級及三級結構。著重介紹各類酵素(如restriction endonucleases) 與受質結合及反應機轉。
