Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to do the followings:
1. Become familiar with the conventions of three major literary genres (fiction, poetry, and drama).
2. Do a close reading of a literary text.
3. Discuss literary works from an analytical and critical perspective.
4. Be familiar with literary terms used to analyze works of literature.
