教育目標

The course description is for only a basic view. Here are details. This course is aimed to deliver statistical material suitable for the 2nd year of undergraduate students who are majored in food science. The main content of the course would emphasize equally on elementary statistics and adequate applications for the interests in bioscience. Designed as one-semester course, roughly, it will cover topics including descriptive statistics, probability, distribution, estimation, inference, categorical data, analysis of variance, regression and nonparametric tests, survival data. The course would run a median to fast pace to cover all the chapters in the textbook. Except for midterm and final exams, weekly homework will be given with about 5 problems assigned in each. Grading will be based on homework, in-class exams and attendance.

課程概述

利用sas軟體分析,建立學生對資料數據的處理,結果之研判及實驗工作的規劃(採用統計設計方式)。首先就族群與樣品的差異予以探討,統計時產生可能錯誤(Type I,Type II)緣由,及由族群所用的Z分布及應用時的t分布,變方分析中的單因子設計(CRD,RCBD,Latin Square)與複因子設計。迥歸分析(Simple & Multiple regression)的由來及應用。二項分布及卜瓦松分布及非母數分析常用的方法包括chi-square 、rank test等各種方法。
