教育目標

This course is designed primarily for students doing graduate research or preparing their theses and to enhance their ability to present their work accurately and clearly in the English language. Basic differences in the structure of Mandarin and English and in language usage make this both essential and difficult. Therefore, teaching materials will combine both English as a Second language (ESL) and scientific discussion and writing with particular emphasis on the mistakes in English often made by Taiwanese authors and students and will show students how to avoid or correct them.
