教育目標

The aims of this course are placed on empowering and enabling the social work graduate student to be sensitive to the societal reality and practice advancement in relation to elders’ needs and problems. Through learning experience, students are expected to reach the following objectives: (1)to identify and present the emerging elder issues with professional judgment; (2)to equip with relevant knowledge, attitudes, techniques and skills as the practice capacities for applying in service settings; (3)to provide and orchestrate needed services to manage elders’ living context; and, (4)to advocate social concerns on elders from a stance of self- determination, ethical, welfare and human right.
