教育目標

■ 課程目標 (Course Objectives) This course aims to allow students being equipped with better insight knowledge in the rapidly advancing field of animal genetic engineering and a highly practical understanding of their further applications including: (1) Develop an understanding of current techniques used in animal genetic engineering and animal cloning as well as their applications to animal agriculture and the bio-medical and bio-industrial fields. (2) Understand and discuss the social and ethical issues associated with animal genetic engineering and animal cloning. (3) Provide a forum for presenting and discussing current events in science. These will include recent technological breakthroughs in scientific research as well as the public policy decisions and legislative actions that arise from such discoveries. (4) Develop critical thinking skills as well as improve written and oral presentation skills.

以研究生為授課對象,教授基因工程在動物方面之應用,期使學生能對動物遺傳工程有更深入的了解並運用到試驗研究上。
