教育目標

By the end of this course, students should be able to 1) conduct research independently on topics of their choices. 2) write research papers and present their research and arguments following current academic standards of presentation. 3) properly cite their sources of information and avoid plagiarism.

課程概述

Research Methods is a second-year required course. By the end of this course, students should be able to 1) find materials through academic sources such as the library and online databases, 2) evaluate the quality of materials they find, 3) follow academic citation conventions when using information from those materials in their own assignments, and 4) understand the concept of academic integrity and the importance of avoiding plagiarism.
