教育目標

On completion of the course, students should be able to - use English to handle everyday situations; - use English to handle school work; - acquire a wide range of knowledge of the target culture; and - acquire an in-depth understanding of their home culture.

課程概述

This course is designed to prepare undergraduate and graduate students for further study in English-speaking countries. The students will be expected to improve their English proficiency to communicate effectively, to sharpen their acadmic abilities to achieve in-depth learning and to develop their cross-cultural understanding. Class activities, consolidation assignments and evaluative measures will be designed and implemented to attain those goals.
