教育目標

The main goals are to build up students’ basic reading skills, maximize the opportunities to use them in class and become fluent, confident readers. This will be accomplished through the use of intensive and extensive reading. Intensive reading focuses on building language awareness and comprehension, including passages and articles taken from magazines or newspapers. Extensive reading focuses on fluency development and reading for pleasure, including books from the Oxford Bookworms Library collection. 主要課程目標為培養學生的基本閱讀技能、於課堂上多加使用習得的技能,並成為流利、有自信的英文讀者。此目標是藉由密集閱讀與廣泛閱讀來達成。密集閱讀包含國際報章雜誌的文章和時事新聞,旨在建立語言敏銳度及理解力。廣泛閱讀的書籍選自牛津書蟲圖書館,旨在建立流利度以及閱讀的樂趣。
