教育目標

By the end of the course, students should be able to 1) conduct research independently on a topic, 2) write an annotated bibliography, and 3) properly cite their sources of information and avoid plagiarism. Students learn the basic skills and principles that they will need to carry out research.

課程概述

Research Methods is a second-year required course. By the end of this course, students should be able to 1) find materials through academic sources such as the library and online databases, 2) evaluate the quality of materials they find, 3) follow academic citation conventions when using information from those materials in their own assignments, and 4) understand the concept of academic integrity and the importance of avoiding plagiarism.
