On completion of this course, students should be able to
1. have larger vocabulary which are related to the topics taught in class;
2. have some basic knowledge about roots, prefixes, and suffixes
3. enhance their reading comprehension by using the reading skills taught in class. The skills include reading for main ideas, inferring, and making predictions.
4. improve their listening ability.
