On completion of the course, students should be able to
1. have larger vocabulary which are related to the topics taught in class;
2. have some basic knowledge about roots, prefixes, and suffixes;
3. enhance their English reading comprehenison by using the skills taught in class. These skills include reading for main idea, drawing inferrences, and making predcitions; and
4. improve their listening ability.
