Course description: “Asian Religions” is a course on Asian religious thought and religious experience. Through lectures and readings, Asian Religions explores the formative religious myths, conceptions, values, and life experiences of Asian men and women. Specifically, the course will examine religious traditions of China, India, and Japan, in an attempt to understand the world and self as they appear to the adherents of these traditions. “亞洲宗教”是關於亞洲宗教思想和宗教經驗。通過講座和閱讀“亞洲宗教”探索亞裔男性和女性形成的宗教神話，觀念，價值觀念，和生活經驗。具體而言，本課程將探討中國，印度和日本的宗教傳統，試圖了解擁護者的傳統世界和自我概念。 The course will examine questions such as: What is “religion” in the Asian context? What are some of the different modes and ways of being religious?
