Course description: This is the first of seven “Global Leadership” courses in the Program in International Business Administration of the International College. This course examines personal identity in historical perspective, by examining what it means to be Taiwanese at the beginning of the 21st century. The course examines Taiwanese identity from a global perspective, not only so that students will understand “what Westerners think of Taiwan,” but also so that students will understand their own Taiwanese identity in global terms.
