教育目標

This course aims at the application of Matlab software on the numerically solving and visualizing physics problems, such as damped pendulum, projectile motion with resistance, string vibration, planet motion, and etc. The students will learn how to analyze, model and eventually solving simple problems using the software. One or two simple projects are required for the students during the course.Damped pendulum, driven oscillator, resonance, projectile motion with resistance, Kepler's law, simulation of planets, Fourier expansion, electrostatics, rigid body rotations, precession, LRC circuits.
