管理數學為商管領域中數量方法的基礎，其內容主要包含線性代數、微積分、以及機率理論三大項，並搭配生活實務上的應用，如複利、線性規劃、馬可夫鏈、決策理論等等。本課程適合已修過微積分相關課程者，目標是使學生對基本數學感到熟悉，並了解管理數學如何應用在解決實務上面臨之問題。
The aim of this course is to introduce to the students some mathematical skills which are useful in management.( (1)Basic concepts (sets, functions, graphs, etc). (2)Solving systems of linear equations. (3)Elements of matrix algebra. (4)Essentials of linear programming. (5)Elements of financial mathematics.
Finite Mathematics,8th ed., S.T. Tan.
We will use the Chinese translation of the book by Tan.
