教育目標

Introducing varies IR theories,international environmental politics as well as sustainable development. 由國際關係各項理論基礎介紹、國際環境政治及永續發展等不同層面之探討，豐富國際關係與環境政治研究之學習內涵及拓展國際視野。 This course starts with IR introduction, making students understand basic concepts of IR and environmental politics through discussing three different analysis levels. Moreover, three major IR theories-Realism, Liberalism and Constructivism are quite important bases for combining issues of environmental politics. What's more, we could understand more interactions and influences among various actors under international environmental politics by introducing international and domestic factors affecting environmental policy of the U.S. Last but not least, the issues of "population," "water resource," "food crisis," should be taken into consideration as well. 本課程從介紹國際關係之概論出發，藉由分析層次、理論基礎等介紹，輔以環境政治之重要名詞界定，以建立修課同學對於國際關係與環境政治認識之基礎。接著，分別介紹「現實主義」、「自由主義」、「建構主義」等三大國際關係理論，作為其與環境政治結合的重要背景。此外，透過介紹影響美國環境政策的國際、國內因素，了解國際環境政治中不同行為者之間的互動與影響。最後，將重點放在環境議題中「人口」、「水源」、「糧食」等相關省思面向。並以「環境永續」與「經濟發展」間之對話，及環境議題的「雙層博弈」特性等探討議題做結。

課程概述
