教育目標
This course introduces major composers, musicians, and genres in early-mid 19th-century Europe, and the social, cultural, and economic contexts that harbored them. Major issues include the Romantics’ responses to (or against) the Classic traditions, including the Classic form, structure, instrumentation, and genres.
