教育目標

The course will examine questions such as: • What are Taiwan’s economic, social, and political challenges and prospects? • What does it mean to be “Taiwanese”? • What are “Taiwanese values,” and how have they changed historically? • What are my personal values, as an individual, as a Taiwanese, and as a citizen of the world? • What is my identity as a global citizen?

課程概述

In this course, we explore some of the historically important philosophical questions relating to the human person. This will include discussions about the existence (or non-existence) of free will; the question of what makes you the particular person you are; and the nature of the human (and non-human mind).
