教育目標

本課程涵蓋19世紀末至20世紀初（1920年代）－即浪漫派末期至現代主義的開端－的西洋音樂史。本課程教科書為Burkholder/Grout/Palisca, A History of Western Music，包括本書附上的樂譜‭ ‬‭(‬anthology of scores‭)‬。幾個重要的電子資料庫‭(‬如Grove Music Online, Naxos‭) ‬將輔助教科書中的內容。課程補充教材可在新版數位教學平台找到。補充教材可課程網站（數位教學平台）上找到。 This course covers the period between late 19th-century and the 1920s, i.e., from late 19th century and the early stage of Modernism. Major reading and listening assignments come from our textbook, Burkholder/Grout/Palisca, A History of Western Music and the accompanying anthologies of scores. Such music resources as Grove Music Online and Naxos will supplement the CD recordings mentioned above. Additional sources such as optional readings and complementary course materials can be accessed on the course website via E-Learning.
