教育目標

The purpose of this course is to help students: 1. Increase their self-awareness/understanding, acceptance & assertiveness skills; 2. Establish their own personal identity; and 3. Enhance their ability of self-management that leads to further personal growth and maturity, which are essential to living a more purposeful and fulfilling life in college and beyond.

課程概述

In this course, we explore some of the historically important philosophical questions relating to the human person. This will include discussions about the existence (or non-existence) of free will; the question of what makes you the particular person you are; and the nature of the human (and non-human mind).
