課程概述

Effective Speaking for Global Communication is a one-semester course (3 credits) for students who are interested in communicating professionally and confidently with English speakers around the world. Since one of the most important language skills is the ability to express ideas in a clear and confident way, this course focuses on key parts of persuasive speaking such as word choice, eye contact, body language, and articulation. This course prepares students to create persuasive arguments, improve public speaking skills, and practice debating topics to form agreements and negotiations: skills that are essential for global business and communication.
