教育目標
The objective of this course is to provide students with knowledge
in estimation, testing hypothesis, simple linear regression, analysis of variance
(one-way) and categorical data analysis.
This course will include
(1) review of basic probability theory, random variables, point/interval estimation
(2) theories and methods for testing hypothesis (one-population and two-population)
(3) basic theories and methods for regression analysis (simple linear regression model).
(4) basic theory and methods for the analysis of categorical data (independence and
homogeneity tests; goodness-of-fit test)
(5) Analysis of variance (ANOVA for one-way).
