教育目標

本課程為管理學之入門課程,著重於了解現代管理觀念、程序、與技術於各種具特定目標之組織當中。課程內容涵蓋規劃、組織、領導、與控制等四部分,教學內容則以課堂講授、小組活動(包括個案討論、專案報告)、與自我閱讀為學習架構,輔以高度互動之議題討論,使同學能掌握現代組織管理的精義,從而實踐管理的效能。 This is an introductory course to the theory and basic concepts of management. It serves as the first course in the discipline of management, and provides fundamental knowledge for advanced courses such as international business management, international business strategy, etc. In this introductory course, we will involve an overview approach to cover the various notions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling which are required for an understanding of management’s role in the contemporary organization. Besides, we will review the evolution of management thought, function and practice and stress current development in management studies.

本課程旨在引導學生理解企業管理的核心概念與實務操作,涵蓋組織運作、領導、策略、人力資源、市場行銷、財務管理等重要面向,並結合當前企業面臨的挑戰與趨勢,如永續發展、數位轉型、AI應用與多元共融。課程採用理論與實務並行的方式,透過案例教學、討論與分組報告,提升學生的分析、思辨與表達能力,為進一步修習管理相關課程或未來職涯發展奠定基礎。 This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of business management, covering key topics such as organizational behavior, leadership, strategy, human resources, marketing, and financial management. It also incorporates contemporary trends and challenges such as sustainability, digital transformation, AI integration, and diversity & inclusion. Students will engage with both theory and real-world cases, enhancing critical thinking and communication skills while laying a strong foundation for advanced study or career development.
