課程概述

The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the concepts and theories of quality control (QC) in representative areas of health care (HC). The philosophical perspectives supporting quality - from an entry of statistical thinking to medical value measurement. The course is to achieve the following goals: 1. To introduce students to the philosophies, methods and tools of Quality Control and suggest a new paradigm for management which goes beyond statistics in HC as it is commonly viewed today. 2. To provide case studies those exemplify the concepts in practice and give students a context for discussing the practical applications of QC.
