教育目標

In this course you will learn about the broader debates regarding gender-based violence (GBV) and the legislative framework of policy development. You will also learn how to examine the ways culture can reinforce either violence or empathy, kindness, and peace. We will use various texts, including social theory, perspectives, legal documents, films, as well as articles or studies related to gender-based violence. We also will understand the influence on children who are exposed to domestic violence and sexual abuse. The course aimed to increase students' abilities of critical thinking and self-expression via class discussion.
