教育目標

The main objective of this course is to introduce students to foundational and technical concepts in the field of Environmental Health, Safety and Hygiene. Primarily, students will learn how different environmental factors impact health outcomes and the control measures currently used to prevent or minimize the health effects from these negative impacts. The course is designed to acquaint students with the scientific and technical foundations of the field, and will examine both practice and research contributions to understanding and controlling environmental hazards. It will deliver important information and resources for the students' own health and wellness advocacy as they move out beyond University.
