教育目標

There are two main purposes of this course. The first is to develop students' capacity to direct their own language learning. This entails developing their own goals for learning the target language and designing ways to reach these goals. In the process, the capacity for self-evaluation will be crucial to the learners' progress. The second purpose of the course is to provide the conditions for students to learn through discovery various ways that a new language encodes meaning and to hone these meaning-making resources through actual use of the target language to commmunicate.
