教育目標

1.促進修課者瞭解田野研究方法的本質與知識基礎。 2.促進修課者瞭解田野研究方法如何剖析社區照顧議題。 3.促進修課者具有獨立撰寫學術性論文/獨立執行學術研究的能力。

課程概述

臺灣人口老化的趨勢,已造成既往家庭養老機制慚慚失去其支撐力,因此,補充與強化既有各項養老機制以因應越來越嚴峻的養老問題,已是未來不可迴避的挑戰。有各種不同策略可因應前項挑戰,社區照顧是其中策略之一,甚至被視為是最理想的策略之一。但目前臺灣的社區照顧經驗輪廓到底為何?所面臨的問題又為何?有那些模式可以選擇?有那些制度或社會阻礙須排除?究竟那些社區照顧模式較適合臺灣呢?以上諸多提問皆是經驗性議題,須透過實地踏察才得以貼切瞭解;而田野調查這套傳統的研究工具/取向,正好是實地踏察的最佳途徑。基於此,本課程會介紹田野調查/社區照顧的基本理論與實施方式,然後再搭配實地社區照顧活動的考察,期待修課者得以藉此課程活動而習得兼具理論與實務的知識,並於往後運用於職場中。
