In this course, students will develop a basic understanding of Macroeconomics by using both theoretical methods and empirical evidence. On the one hand, we will review some topics in Macroeconomics, such as fiscal policies, monetary policies and exchange rate policies. On the other hand, we will discuss contemporary issues about macroeconomic economy, including the economic growth rate, interest rates, the inflation rate, and the exchange rate. Overall, the purpose of this course is to help students to develop professional knowledge and skills toward the macroeconomic analysis.
