課程概述

Learn basic through advanced computer concepts with an emphasis on both the personal computer and enterprise computing. Topics include hardware, application and system software, the Internet and World Wide Web, communications, e-commerce, societal issues, database management, systems analysis and design, programming, information systems, career opportunities, certifications in the computer field, and computer trends. An overview of computer information systems. Concepts include terminology, computer hardware, software, and networks as well as the impact of computers on society, ethical issues in computing, and trends in information processing. Students use a microcomputer with systems software and applications software, including a word processor, electronic spreadsheet, database management system, and Web page editor to process data and present useful information.
