教育目標

本課程的目的在於探討病原 (pathogens,如細菌、病毒、黴菌、寄生蟲等) 為何能逃避宿主免疫反應的攻擊而得以存活。同時也將探討在特定的生理需要下,為何身體能不產生免疫反應?例如身體不會排斥攝取的食物、腸內益生菌或胎兒。本課程將利用文獻的原始資料來討論抗原與宿主反應之間的相互關係,進而瞭解免疫系統的功能及機制。
