After completing this course, the students should be able to tackle a problem systematiclly, starting with 1) defining the system - micro and/or macro ones, 2) identifying system variables, 3) providing sufficient system equations - both coservation and constitutive ones, 4) choosing an appropriate solution technique - both analytically and numerically, and finnaly done with it.
