教育目標

在當代「普及運算」(Ubiquitous Computing) 的趨勢之下，數位工具深刻地介入建築研究、設計與實務的每一個階段。本課程提供數位資訊在建築設計中的整體綜觀概念，介紹重要的應用，並教導參數式設計軟體工具。學生除了能夠得到實際的軟體工具技術，更能對數位資訊的設計應用有廣泛而全面的認識。

課程概述

在當代「普及運算」(Ubiquitous Computing) 的趨勢之下，數位工具深刻地介入建築研究、設計與實務的每一個階段。本課程提供數位資訊在建築設計中的整體綜觀概念，介紹重要的應用，並教導參數式設計軟體工具。學生除了能夠得到實際的軟體工具技術，更能對數位資訊的設計應用有廣泛而全面的認識。 課程首先建立對於數位資訊的基本認識，了解近年來數位工具、計算能力與數位思考在空間與建築設計上的演進歷史。學生接著學習參數式設計軟體(Rhinoceros - Grasshopper)，實際操作生成幾何造型，組織互動圖像，分析空間資訊，設計圖像表達等等重要應用，從中學習資訊在不同尺度的設計操作下種種應用的可能。學期最後，我們以空間資訊為出發點，研究不同領域的設計或研究案例，提出一份研究設計提案作為整合練習。
