教育目標

針對景觀以及植栽設計案例，包括：設計圖面，以及目前已經完工、或正在施工中之個案現場，實地就其景觀設計以及植栽設計部份，由不同角度與層面切入探討。研析方向包括：現地環境特性、設計手法與主題、使用者行為、一般民眾之偏好與需求；植物材料選種是否適合環境，就植物出現的徵兆與狀況，研判其不適合之主要原因，可能是日照、風、鹽或氣溫等所造成；植栽機能、設計原則、以及景觀美質偏好之應用，維護管理、生態理念、生態競爭與演替，以及價值工程等進行研析。探討其優、劣與問題，以及植物選種與配置是否符合設計所需，並進一步提出可能之修正、改善方案，且探討其特色。 教學目的乃冀望藉由實際案例進行綜合討論研析，不僅激發設計創意、驗證相關理論，進而研議出符合美學、生態且經濟可行之各種改善方案與建議，達到景觀植栽設計實務訓練之目標。 研討案例包括各種類型：鄰里公園、主題公園、都會公園、私人庭園、集合住宅中庭、科博館、校園、街道等。上課以戶外實際案例為主，教室內為輔。
