The goal of the seminar course is to explore related research subjects on the field ofrestaurant and hotel management, such as Hospitality Marketing, Human Resource Management, Food Safety and Sanitation, Consumer Behavior Analysis etc. Under the advise of professor from the department, students will conduct their research in groups with different trendy topics closely related to hospitality industry.
In oredr to accomplish the requirement of this seminar course , students need to submit a research proposal with the first three chapters of their study including introduction, literature review and methodology. After receiving approval of the proposal, students then can proceed to the section of conducting their research by data collection and analysis in the following semester. Students need to meet with their thesis advisor(s) on a regular basis and discuss the progress of the research agenda.

培養學生閱讀、資料分析、實驗設計、問題討論。訓練學生具有歸納問題,追求及探索知識的能力,透過口頭報告培養學生表達的能力,進而訓練學生具有從事生命科學相關議題研究的能力。
