經濟學入門課程，課程涵蓋個體經濟與總體經濟學。旨在培養建立經濟思考方式，暸解經濟體系基本運作架構以及政策與經濟體系之的因果關係。

This intermediate course aims to help students deepen their understanding of the economy at the micro level. Focus is firstly placed on the choice by consumers and and producers. Attention is then paid to various forms of markets. Basic concepts, underlying intuitions, and key analytic tools are presented to encourage students to act as an economist by logically explaining and predicting phenomena around and rationally solve both professional and personal problems. Common business English vocabulary is also reviewed.

The main text is MICROECONOMICS WITH CALCULUS by J. Perloff, Pearson, Third Edition, 2014. Lecture notes and supplemental material for in-class discussions are to be distributed following the progress of the course.
