教育目標

The intent of this course is to bridge the gap between engineering theory and practice. Students will be exposed to various aspects of designing a chemical process. Equipment design, process feasibility, economics, and safety issues will be addressed. Course Contents: Different Tasks in Process Design, Phase Equilibrium in Process Design, Selction of Thermodynamic Models in Process Simulation, Process Simulation Pitfalls, Economic Analysis, Overview of Presentation Skills, Separation System Design & Residue Curve Maps, Guidelines for Safety-oriented Process Design, Control Issues, Process Design - A Industrial Case Study, Process Simulation - Practical Applications, Process System Optimization.

課程概述

本課程以化工設計案例實作來介紹製程設計,探討包括設備與製程設計,製程經濟效益等課題,目標乃在強化大四同學運用化工專業核心知識的訓練,以及提升同學製程分析及工程設計方面的能力。
