教育目標

 課程目標 (Course Objectives) By the end of the course, students should be able to identify the principles of managing formal organizations, recognize the various challenges faced by today’s managers and give examples of organizations engaging in the management functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling.  課程內涵 (Course Contents) This course serves as an introduction to the discipline of management. It is designed to integrate the accepted theories of the filed with real world applications to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills needed for managing others. This course begins with a discussion of the current issues in management and then proceeds to cover the traditional functions of management: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Lectures and class assignments given in the course are intended to help students understand the needs of modern public and private organizations, including emerging national and international trends.

課程概述

To stay out in front, today’s business managers must have a solid knowledge of management and good command of English. This course is designed to equip students with the state of the art knowledge of the modern business world and to enhance student’s business English ability. We will read a variety of articles to help students gain insights about the most recent development of the industry, market, company, product, finance, strategy, leadership, and innovation, etc.
