教育目標

There will be writing/arrangement projects to accomplish for the whole semester, based upon the common knowledge of the instrumental combinations in the Western Music. Listening repertoire projected as follows: the works by the primary European and American composers as Arnold Schoenberg (1874-1951), Witold Lutoslawski (1913-1994), György Ligeti (1923-2006), Luciano Berio (1925-2003, )Sofia Gubaidulina (b. 1931), Alfred Schnittke (1934-1998), John Corigliano (b. 1938), John Harbison (b. 1938), Stephen Albert (1941-1992), Joseph Schwantner (b. 1943), Christopher Rouse (b. 1949), Steven Stucky (b. 1949,)Richard Danielpour (b. 1956).
