教育目標
On completion of the course, students should be able to 1). watch and understand English films without Chinese subtitles; 2). discuss films confidently and comfortably with others in English; and 3). analyze animated films in various aspects and from various perspectives.
課程概述
This course is designed to enhance students English listening and speaking abilities through watching and discussing English animated films with the English sound track and subtitles. Every week, an animated film on DVD (public-viewing edition) will be shown, followed by the instructor short talk on the background of the film and some aspects of film production/theories. Then students will discuss the film in groups. In addition, each student is required to make a 3-minute oral presentation on an English animated film of his and her choice.
